Much of Iceland’s popularity is due to its natural features which include glaciers, bubbling hot springs, geysers, active volcanoes, snow-capped peaks, vast lava deserts, rivers, waterfalls and green valleys.

This is the premier trek in Iceland.  We will be trekking in an area formed by volcanic activity which has created an interesting terrain of lava fields and black pumice sand.  During the trek we encounter rivers and waterfalls cascading into deep canyons.  We traverse some rivers on foot which will add to the challenge. There are few places on earth with such variety of landscape, colour and much more.
