Parachute for FREE! Close Window

If you have ever wanted to do a parachute jump, here is your chance. Action Against Hunger is looking for hundreds of adventurous volunteers to make a parachute jump and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to jump for free!

There are three types of jump available - an 'Accelerated FreeFall' where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet, a 'Tandem Skydive' from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor and a 'Static Line' jump which is performed solo from up to 3,000 feet - and you can jump from any one of over twenty British Parachute Association approved airfields across the UK. No experience is necessary as all training is given and if you raise from £360 (depending on the type of jump you choose) you will receive your jump for free.

So if you would like to make a thrilling skydive from 10,000 feet or an exhilarating solo jump from up to 3,000 feet you can either give us a call at 0208 293 6190, email t.bukvic@aahuk.org or book online by clicking here.

What is a Tandem Skydive?

This jump takes place on one day and there is no training required apart from a briefing with the instructor before hand. The jump is in tandem as you jump with a fully qualified instructor. After exiting the plane at 10,000 you experience freefall for 40-45 seconds and at 5,000 feet the instructor deploys the main canopy and you parachute to the ground. The landing is totally controlled by the instructor.

There is a 5-6 hours of intensive training involved before you can jump. Once this training has been completed the jump will take place from 3,000 feet. We have a group of people wanting to jump together, is this possible?

Yes providing we have plenty of notice and depending on the size of the group. Your participant would need to tick the box in the top right hand corner of their reservation form which indicates that they would like to be booked in with a friend(s). It would also be useful to include a list of the names of their group members so we can link each group member together when the bookings arrive. Please call us on 0870 345 7788 to discuss this further if you need.
