Dates: 11th - 15th June 2008
Deposit: £99
Minimum Sponsorship: £1,100
The route between these two historic cities is peppered with architectural, cultural and natural treasures. On our side of the channel there are the iconic ‘oust houses’ of rural Kent, Canterbury’s ancient city walls and famous cathedral and the desolate scrublands of the North Downs. Across La Manche, there’s quaint Flemish architecture, gothic architecture, rural landscapes and historic battlefields that are straight out of a Sebastian Faulks novel, and friendly locals in a country that’s fanatical about cycling. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced team for the whole trip so you won’t be left ‘down and out’ in London, Paris or anywhere in between.
