Overseas Jobs
At present, the Action Against Hunger International
Network has over 5,000 members of staff working
in over 43 countries worldwide. Professional
and motivated individuals are recruited on a
constant basis by our headquarters in London, Paris, Madrid and New York for the posts of Nutritionist, Nurse,
Midwife, Doctor, Health Educator, Water Engineer,
Food Security Officer, Social Analyst, Administrator,
Logistician, Head of Project and Head of Mission.
See
job profiles to see the standard job descriptions for these
posts.
Action Against Hunger in London recruits throughout
the year for a register of staff that are then
available for immediate overseas deployment.
This register is referred to as the 'UK pool'.
Staff within the UK pool will have been interviewed
by the Human Resources department and the relevant
Technical Advisor. In addition, we follow up on two references and gain confirmation
that you are fit to work gained. Members of
the pool and Action Against Hunger UK stay in
regular contact to discuss potential work opportunities
and the individual's availability.
Action Against Hunger does not manage any
overseas programmes since December 2004. Staff within
the UK pool will be deployed to programmes managed
by the other network HQs in Paris, Madrid and
New York.
If you have the technical skills and humanitarian
motivation to become a member of the Action
Against Hunger UK team, please read on and learn
more about employee benefits and how to
